From the FAPPIANO family and BLEND of pedigree

This son of Hard Spun is out of Island Bound, a daughter of Speightstown who won six furlong (G3) Winning Colors at Churchill. Aloha West physically resembles this side of the family with speed of Speightstown and his quality and presence.

His pedigree blend from three of the most influential sire lines today: Danzig, Gone West and A.P. Indy and traces back to Fappiano.

With breeding, my goal is to breed a racehorse first followed by a sales horse.

In ALOHA WEST, I find opportunity to accomplish this for he is the entire package of racing performance, pedigree blend, quality individual and exceptional value.

As a shareholder, I believe in the Mill Ridge way and the support of other shareholders and breeders.
— Sandra Sexton
Headley, Aloha West’s pedigree blend is scary, and he could be ANY kind of stallion. I bought a share and believe in him because it is a stallion making family.

RACE RESULTS

2021 BREEDERS’ CUP SPRINT CHAMPION

Thought to be Bob Baffert’s best 2yo but injuries..

From the start of July of his 2yo year, Aloha West worked nearly every week until the end of October, eleven times, with the fastest work at that distance in six of those including from the gate his last two.

Ready to run, he bucked his shins and required 157 days before returning to work, and now as a 3yo. Once again, with a similar pattern up to June and ready to run, he had a condylar fracture of his left front.

Moved to Wayne Catalano, and now 4yo, he breaks his maiden in his first start at Oaklawn. With a similar pattern as Speightstown, Aloha West went on to make eight more starts, culminating in November at Del Mar and a win in the Breeders' Cup Sprint where he defeated Champion Jackie's Warrior.

Said Wayne Catalano- "This horse has the potential to be a great stallion, as he had two key ingredients, speed and heart, and he is beautiful!!"
